YOUR VOICE IS THIS THE SOUND OF THE RAIN? In the back of a rather crowded cafe sat a rather middle-aged man, with a newspaper held up in-front of him with a dark brown jacket hung over his seat, it seemed like the man only just got off his shift by the way he had set up. Truth be told however, Micheal had taken the next few days off to take a quick trip to Japan, and he only just arrived in town about three hours ago and was asked to wait in the cafe for a friend of his. Well I guess friend wasn't really the right word as he had known the girl since she was but a child, and during his time growing up in the Vongola, the same could be said about most of the current members if he remembered correctly, but regardless he cherished them deeply.
"Hmmm, I wonder if sis would be happy if I drop in unexpectedly?" The man mumbled to himself as he turned a page of the newspaper as he thought back to if he even told his sister if he was in town. "Nah, it should be alright if I drop by later on. Maybe I should get something for her? I am pretty sure her birthday is coming up." Micheal talked himself into his plan for later on the day, while he waited for a certain red-head to show up, although she probably was busy with her idol work or maybe even CEDEF matters. Regardless the man had all of the time in the world as he sat down in his chair and asked for two orders, one coffee and the other being some tea in Japanese to a nearby waitress. It was rather evident that his Japanese was a tad bit rusty, due to his time in Italy but he would get back in the swing of things after speaking a few sentences.
He wondered if things were going already in the CEDEF and this wasn't an another attempt for him to get back on the Vongola saddle, and join the group because he was sure that after the second try they quit. The man slowly shook his head as he turned another page of his newspaper, nah chances are this was probably a more social visit as he hasn't seen the poor girl in a while. He would occasionally look up from the paper to see if she arrived, but was instead greeted by the waitress yet again who placed the order down on the table,"Thank you" he spoke as his Japanese was noticeably better this time around as he neatly folded the newspaper and placed it next to his drink, and he stretched his limbs from his flight.

She had to take her time and think about this all properly. It was actually pretty important decision especially since she said they should meet at a cafe. That was public domain and it wasn't like the cafe was one of the more obscure ones. She had chosen that cafe in particular because it had this cake that she absolutely adored. That would just be a secret between the tow of them because she had strict orders when it came to sweets. She loved them to death but her manager said that they wouldn't do any good to her complexion.
The redhead just finished signing off on a few things and got out of a meeting with her uncle Reborn's grandson who was agreed to tutor the candidate she was backing. This was a really busy time period for her as she was overseeing the ring battle between the two sky candidates while still keeping up with her idol duties. It was tiring sometimes but this was the life that she had decided to lead and she wasn't going to back down now. She had never been the type to do such a thing and she wasn't going to start now. That was also why this meeting was important to her because it was providing her with a little break.
As always Reiko had promised her manager that she wouldn't wear anything that would make her stick out in the crowd. Sometimes it was really hard to blend in especially with how bright her hair was. She decided against wearing a wig this time, however, as she wanted her uncle to be able to recognize her if only a little bit. She had went back to her home within Namimori that despite to her liking was on the opposite side of town than her sister's. It was to keep people from crowding in the area and it made it easier for her to sneak to where her sister lived not that it would have been a problem for the CEDEF boss. It was at home where she started to poke through her closet to figure out just what she could wear that would be disguise enough.
Her golden eyes sparked with curiosity as they fell upon what appeared to be an old school uniform. It would definitely be a curious choice but more than anything she wondered if it still fit. She didn't think that she had really grown since she had graduated but sometimes things like that happened and they couldn't be helped. She took the risk of trying it on and much to her glee it still fit her much like it did back when she was still in school. That made her far happier than she would probably normally admit but that was besides the point. She quickly did her hair into two nice braids that draped over her chest and grabbed a pair of her fake glasses that she tended to wear when she was disguising herself. She hoped that this would be enough to keep others from immediately noticing that it was her.
Reiko took one last glance at herself in the mirror making sure that everything was in order before she picked up the shoes she once wore with her uniform and carried them out to the entrance of her home. She didn't keep them out there because it wasn't like she wore the old brown shoes anymore and they'd be in the way otherwise. She slipped them on and grabbed her bag that she still kind of used even though she wasn't in school anymore. She made her way towards the cafe as she peeked a glance at her watch and picked up the pace. She was actually kind of running late but she knew he probably wouldn't mind and was just sitting there waiting patiently. She found herself making it just in time to hear him asking if he was gonna make him wait and she let out a giggle as she sat down across from him.
"I was going to call you Aniki today but if you want to be Oji that's fine too." Reiko said with a grin planted on broad on her face as she teased the older man. "How was your flight Oji?" She asked as she continued to tease him some more. ♠ coded by heroin of gangnam style ♠

We were the fire on the moonlit skies He blinked out the sleep from his eyes as he looked at the time on his phone and he groaned, rolling into the pillow in the break room of the hospital. After an emergency in a nearby town lead several of the victims of an emergcy to Namimori hospital, Ryuu, who had been working in the ER at the time had pulled an all-nighter, one of what would eventually be many in he hoped, his long career. There were a couple text messages from his fiancee, but he had told her on one of his breaks the night befoore that he was going to have to stay. He'd gotten a couple hours of sleep after things had calmed down, but he was still tired.
He yawned again, standing up and stretching his long limbs and glanced at a note left on the coffee table for him telling him to go home for the rest of the day and come back first thing in the morning. A tired doctor was just as bad as a drunk one, according to some of the doctors in the hospital. He inspected himself in a mirror in the room, trying to fix his hair which had gotten static-y from his awkward sleep, eventually electing to pour a bottle of water into his hair somewhere over the bathroom sink to fix it. He splashed cold water into his face, and changed into a pair of regular, extra pair of clothes he kept in his locker, dropping the others into a laundry basket in the room. His engagement ring carefully slid back over his ring finger along with the Rain Ring of the Vongola, both of which, while he didn't usually wear during surgeries that he got in on or during work, were always stowed away in a pocket with his boxes. Hospitals weren't as safe and there was always an off chance of somebody coming by to finish what they started, or something like that. He watched too many hospital dramas, apparently.
The sun light when Ryuu left hit him hard and he blinked his eyes into focus. He'd get coffee and then maybe stop by the school and see Silvia for lunch...Coffee sounded fabulous, now that he thought about it. There was this cafe in town he knew that he liked...Silvia liked going there once in awhile too. He grumbled something incomprehensible, something about destroying the sun because it was too bright and headed down the side walk. "Go 'way, sun. You're too bright. At least wait until I have coffee." It wasn't long until he reached the cafe he was looking for and found an interesting sight was he walked passed the window of it and towards the door. The door ringed open pleasantly as one of the waitresses took his order and seated him. He thought about getting something to eat, not remembering when he'd eaten something the day before. But since his stomach wasn't yelled at him, he figured it'd be alright and that maybe he'd gotten something during the crazy night.
He moved over to the table that Reiko and Michael were at, amused slightly by Reiko's greeting towards the man and promptly took a seat next to Reiko. "Fancy meeting you two here," he stated casually. "I don't know you were in town, old man," he greeted the male lightly. "Does mom know you're in town?" he yawned slightly behind his hand, obviously happy when the waitress brought his coffee and he went for a mass amount of sugar into it, which wasn't normal for him. After spending all night in an ER, and most of the day there and then waking up in an uncomfortable position on an uncomfortable couch...he could use the sugar. It was after getting at least a few sips of how his now overly sweet brew into his system that he elected to ask. "A school uniform, Rei? Anybody ask you why you aren't in school this time of day yet?" he asked, teasing the slightly older girl.

YOUR VOICE IS THIS THE SOUND OF THE RAIN? A small yawn escaped the man slightly as he glanced around the cafe as his right hand lightly held his coffee mug and he only smiled slightly. He remembered his first few days of rehabilitation with his new arm, and the first time he tried to hold a mug it just shattered into pieces. All he could remember was the terror that he would have to drink with a straw because he would keep on breaking the glasses, thankfully he actually managed to control the strength of the limb. So now no worry of drinking his coffee or booze through some straw, however if he did he sure would have some crazy ass straws.
When he took a quick sip of his coffee he heard a rather familiar giggle as he looked up and saw the girl he was supposed to meet. At the Oji remark he only just sighed,"Me and my big mouth... Nice to see you too Red." but at the mention of his flight the man's face shown a father exaggerated frown,"Oh it was alright, you know if the person that sat next to me didn't bring her dog. My allergies were acting up the whole flight, and no one would switch seats with me." A small shiver ran through his body as he recalled the situation that ensued on that plane.
It wasn't until another set of footsteps were heard and a familiar blue-head boy sat next to Rekio and also decided to call poor Micheal old."Oi, I am starting to think this is 'Don't Respect your Elders day' or something." He joked as he took another sip of his coffee and with the mention if Ryuu's mother knew he was in town he smirked slightly,"Why? Has she asked about me lately?" The question was a little more serious then joking because, he wasn't quite sure if this was common knowledge, but back in the day Micheal might have a small crush on the family's Rain Guardian during their time. He scratched his chin slightly with a small smirk plastered on his face, with no one to figure out what was going through the old man's mind.
With Ryuu's rather lazy remark towards Reiko's outfit the man squinted slightly at the woman before snapping his fingers,"I knew that looked familiar. So what, don't tell me the idol business is falling out and you have to take extra schooling?!" You could swear you could see teardrops form at the edge of his eyes, from his rather odd question, he mad sure however his tone was tame so that people wouldn't go flocking over, just in-case he was wrong. He did turn his head towards Ryuu who looked like he had little to no sleep which prompted a small smirk."Why are ya so sleepy eh? All night with the misses?Atta boy." It was followed by a small nudge and a wink, was it revenge for the old man remark? Yes.
Micheal enjoyed moments like this as he was able to actually relax, no paperwork at the office, or Vendice matters to attend to. Although such meetings were reminiscent of some of the conversations he had with his fellow guardians, the man couldn't help but put up his rather normal facade in-front of them. "So how is the situation on your guys end? Still gotta figure out the boss ya'?" Despite being a part of the familia he still knew a few things that was going on, like how most of the guardians have been chosen as of late but that was really about it on his end. Should I give up, should I just keep chasin' pavements? ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ Why did Shiori fail her science examination again? We spent so much time going over this specific equation. She knew it so well with the samples I gave her. I’ll just drill her extra on these sections as well as provide more diversified samples. Especially if her teacher gives a bonus examination to get additional credit. A red haired man questioned himself as he look over the exam one of the professors had just given him for one of his students. He really enjoyed helping the middle school students, although at times he just couldn’t figure out why they got the same results. He wanted to give this student the benefit of the doubt, since she was one of his newer pupils. He just hoped it wasn’t another lazy bum who just needed an excuse to give her parents to avoid punishment for poor grades.
Aster had decided to go with a more casual approach today: a simple dark blue and light tan plaid flannel shirt, with the sleeves rolled up just under the elbows, with black jeans and gray belt with rounded silver studs around his waist. He had his tutoring supplies in the forest green messenger bag he had slung over his shoulder. His feet were adorned with simple blue converse. His black framed glasses hugged the bridge of his nose as his crimson eyes glanced up to check the streets before crossing. As he reached the sidewalk opposite of his former position, he combed his fingers through his red hair, the black metallic bracelets brushing against his forehead and scalp.
He’d decided to visit a new coffee shop at the recommendation of one of the professors whose students he was tutoring. The tutor wondered what kind of coffee the shop would have today, hoping that they might be able to make him a chocolate and vanilla latte like he was able to regularly order at his usual coffee shop. The man decided he would need the caffeine- he’d stayed up late the previous night trying to figure out a method to contact his childhood friend who’d become a famous idol in their time apart. He sighed, not knowing if she had an email address he could contact her through that was somewhere on the internet. But then again, his luck never seemed to be in his favor.
After all, his own brother had killed off his entire family. The sad part: no one knew except for those who were misinformed, thinking he was the perpetrator. That’s right, Aster was not merely the normal tutor or part-time tailor everyone knew him to be. In reality, he was Maximillian Dmitri Kozato, heir to the secretive Simon Famiglia’s boss. And to those who knew about the slaughter of the previous generation of the family, he was a traitor.
The red head knew it was dangerous to contact Reiko after so long, especially since he had no idea where she was at in the hierarchy of the mafia world. He just hoped she didn’t have some close connection with Saverio. He would have hated for some misfortune like that to fall upon the red head.
But he couldn’t think about that now.
Aster shook his head as he remembered his first priority: to prepare for the tutoring session he had later that day. He was Aster Thornbrooke now; he needed to act like the man everyone had come to know in case he ran into anyone.
Almost immediately as the thought ran through his head, one of the elderly residents of the apartment complex he was staying in waved at him. The man smiled and waved back. She and her husband had invited him over one time for dinner. It had been a great meal and he’d enjoyed starting to build a relationship with them. They were some of his favorite neighbors.
He reached the shop shortly after, walking in as the door gave a little jingle. He noticed several individuals in the shop: an older gentleman sitting with a younger school girl with vibrant red hair and another man with blue hair. The woman looked a lot like Reiko, but Aster mentally decided she wouldn’t use such an immature disguise if she needed to be in public. She had a plethora of options, especially with the resource of both an idol and a member of the mafia world.
Well, that was until he overheard the two men talk to the woman. The blue haired one, in a teasing tone called the red head “Rei”. It’s just coincidence. Rei could be her actual name or short for something else. He immediately thought as he sat down to a table catty-corner to the three individuals. When the waitress asked what he would prefer, Aster decided to go simple with a white chocolate mocha. Almost after the woman left, his attention was drawn back to the table as the man snapped. But what really caught his attention were the phrases “idol business” and “Figure out the boss”. Although the first statement was said with a controlled tone, but the second one made him think back to what he had learned about the Vongola and their external advisors.
Aster’s eyes grew wide as he decided he would make a bold move. If it wasn’t her, than he would simply say it was a mistaken identity. But if it was, maybe his luck had decided to make today the day to shine favor on him.
He slowly got up and moved to the table adjacent to the trio’s. He sat in a position to where he could see the red haired female’s face when he asked her the question. As he took his seat, the waitress placed his mocha on the table and left. It was now or never.
“Reiko, is that you?” He asked in a tone that he hoped would show some familiarity towards the woman. Although he made sure to keep it at a volume not to alert others to the fact that the famous idol was in the house.

She couldn't help but let out another giggle as she heard the older man sigh and make a comment on him having a big mouth. It had been his own fault for making her call him Oji when she had definitely been planning on calling him aniki. Even though there was a good 10 years between the two it was still okay to call him big brother in her book. That was pretty much how she had grown up around him after all. He may have been a guardian for her uncle but she still got along great with them all seeing as they were like her aunts and uncles too. She smiled as she listened to him explain how his flight had been pretty unpleasant because of his allergies and that no one would switch with him even after that.
"You could use one of the Vongola or my jets next time? It would be a lot more comfortable, Aniki." Reiko said thoughtfully before she turned toward the waitress and ordered a slice of cake as well as a mocha latte.
It was then that the two of them were joined by another familiar face. The blue haired male she had assigned to the rain guardian position but also someone she had been around as a child although not at much as his fiancee or the Hibari grandson. Those three had always been close so it was hard to get close to them not that they weren't friendly outside of that. It was more an intimidating factor than anything but she did have other things to concern herself with as a child as well. He addressed the two of them at first but moved onto Michael as he asked if his mother knew he was in town. The rain guardian's mother had been one of the other young guardians for her uncle and she was still really nice and pretty.
Reiko let out another laugh when Michael seemed to be pouting about being called an old man again but he recovered rather quickly. Even after commenting that it must be don't respect your elders day as Ryuu had mentioned his mother and he seemed to be interested in whether she had been asking about him recently. It was cute. She had been right about this meeting being a necessity. That was mainly because it was able to distract her from the issues she still had to deal with back at the office. Everyone deserved a break every now and then and this included the red head especially since she was dealing with a lot of things.
"Careful, Aniki. I can see you blushing." Reiko said as she teased Michael again as he wasn't really blushing but it was fun to tease him.
The conversation was soon brought back to her and in particular the outfit she had decided to wear out as a disguise. Ryuu seemed to be questioning it and then asked if she had been asked why she wasn't in school at this time of day yet. She stuck her tongue out at him like a child would in response to such a question but no one had asked her that yet. It was probably one of those things that she'd end up getting looks for but they wouldn't bother asking. Most of the people there probably thought she was a delinquent despite the braids and the glasses since she wasn't in school at the moment. Michael joined in with a snap as he seemed to not know what she was wearing until Ryuu has pointed it out and asked if she was being forced to take extra schooling because her idol business was falling out.
"No...I just wanted to wear my old uniform as a disguise. I probably made you look like a pervert before Ryuu showed up, Aniki." Reiko said with a snap decision and a mischievous grin showing up on her face.
Now the conversation was being directed towards Ryuu as Michael questioned why the boy was so tired. She was well aware that he worked as a doctor now that he managed to graduate early. It was the comment about him being up all night with his missus that made the red head laugh again. That would surely get a rise out of the guardian especially since he mostly had been up all night at the hospital. The blue haired male was sometimes easy to read and when it came to his fiancee such comments would get him flustered. Some would probably just call that her Vongola intuition though.
Soon the question was asked on how the situation was on their end and if they had figured out a boss yet. With her aunt and uncle deciding that they should go into a whole different route when it came to the boss tensions were high. There was nothing she could really do with them not agreeing with her. That was why her grandpa had suggested that they just do a ring battle between the two candidates because that would easily solve that issue. He didn't like it when they all argued especially when she was sure it was because he aunt and uncle don't think she's ready for her position.
"I just got out of a meeting with Alighieri-san, uh Uncle Reborn's grandson, to tutor my candidate. I don't know how long it'll be and what Aunt Sayuri and Uncle Hikaru are doing. They couldn't just agree with me." Reiko said in response to his question ending up with an annoyed tone.
Reiko had been hoping that that subject wouldn't really get touched upon but it couldn't be helped. She was the best source of information for this matter and at least someone that would possibly take her side was asking about it. The guardians all were pretty much saints for putting up with such a thing as a ring battle for the boss candidates. Their conversation didn't look like it was going to get too far as the table was approached by a young man not too much younger than her. She hadn't taken much notice of him until he had asked in a hushed volume and a different tone then her fans if she was Reiko. This was the type of tone people that knew her usually talked to her in but as she looked up and stared at the man she didn't seem to recognize him. The last time she'd seen him they have been much younger but she hadn't really changed all that much.
"Uh. Do I know you?" Reiko asked as she continued to scan him over with her golden eyes. She wasn't shooing him off but instead wondering why this person had used such a familiar tone with her. ♠ coded by heroin of gangnam style ♠

We were the fire on the moonlit skies The trio definitely had the intimidation factor going on when it came to the fact that one of them had been Hibari's grandson and another one Gokudera's. Hibari had been known for his violent tendencies, which were reflected in Noboru while Silvia reflected some of Gokudera's wild personality on her own. Ryuu, on the other hand, was probably the least intimidating of the bunch because of how much in common he shared with his laid back grandfather. In general though, the three of them had grown up together and were about as close as Reiko's grandfather had been with his and Silvia's in the past. However, because he was generally easy to get along with, he was probably a lot closer to the rest of the grandchildren than Silvia or Noboru. Reiko was no exception, and considering the time she'd spent around the Varia when she was younger...he was fairly close with both her and Varia's Captain as well because his grandfather often brought him by for training with Squalo - and Squalo insisted that he get assassin training to not waste the same potential that his grandfather had.
It was no secret that Ryuu's mother had been a bit of a heart breaker in her youth, with several men vying for her attentions. Her attention had been on another, however...since Ryuu had existed and all. His head tilted to the side slightly as he smiled. "Perhaps...but I do hope you're not thinking dirty thoughts about my /mother/ when I'm right here. Or you'll be just as bad as Nobu..." Apparently, a lot of Ryuu's straight guy friends throughout high school and college had a thing for his mother and that really creeped him. Apparently his mother even attracted the younger crowd, which Ryuu tried to fend off. If she wanted to date somebody, he'd let her...but of course, he'd have to approve. She was his mother...and slightly irresponsible, after all. And there was no way she was dating somebody who could very well be his brother or his friend. That'd be terrible.
He was grateful for the change of subject off his mother...which he had initiated by commenting on Reiko's choice of clothing. "Oh...definitely. People probably think he's hear taking advantage of a young, defenseless high school girl," Ryuu drawled in a teasing tone before the subject changed again changed, this time to the reasoning why he was tired. Michael's words brought the color to Ryuu's cheeks, the red standing out in stark contrast against his blue hair and fair skin. "N-n-no...that's not it," he stated quickly, almost squeaking in embarrassment, fumbling over his words a little bit. Why would anybody automatically go to the gutter and assume that?! He continued to flush red, trying to come up with some sort of response to the lewd commentary the other had made. Instead, he came up with, but chose not to voice and it and instead just muttered under his breath that "at least I have a girl to stay up all night with..." He looked at Michael, the color still bright on his cheeks as he fumbled to find his answer. "At the hospital all night - nearby town sent several car accident victims over because we have the better ER...and there was a teenager who was high and jumped out of a three story window thinking he could fly..." Apparently, he hadn't been a sky flame user and so, he couldn't fly...and had broken several bones. This is why, children, you don't do drugs.
The sudden change of subject was definitely a good thing and he sighed in relief inwardly. Thank god for meetings with Remo - it couldn't have been Alma because well...he wasn't near as capable as Remo. Ryuu was quick to put in his question, realizing that...he actually didn't keep track of this stuff at all and probably should. His mother got updates sometimes, but as of late, she was more focused on trying to get him and Silvia to name a date and try to plan their wedding. It was like she'd been planning it since the day he was born or something. Oh. If only he knew...that it was complete and utterly true. "How's that going? I don't...really keep track too mucuh..." Ryuu admitted. He really didn't care who actually became boss, just as long as they continued on the legacy of the previous generation. He wanted to live up to his grandfather as much as any of them.
Ryuu glanced up, surprised at the newest addition to the group. He seemed to know Reiko, but she didn't know who he was. That was alarm number one being set off. Finishing off his coffee, he looked at the man who had joined them. He recognized him from somewhere...but couldn't actually place his face. He was definitely on guard though, carefully watching for any sort of funny business. He never went anywhere without his weapon or his rings. Never know when an assassin would leap out and try to kill him, after all.

YOUR VOICE IS THIS THE SOUND OF THE RAIN? With the offer to use one of Reiko's or the Vongola's jets for transportation the man could only shake his head before taking another sip of his coffee,"I am sorry but I cannot take you up on that kind offer, I don't want you or the family to waste their resources on me. Besides if any of my co-workers on the force saw me getting into or out of a private jet, the gossip would never stop." He polity declined the offer, despite the small part of him that begged to never let the previous incident happen again. Perhaps he should ask Bermuda on letting him use a small bit of the night flame to just teleport back and forth... on second thought he thought against it as he was kinda afraid of what the big boss might do.
With the topic about Ryuu's mother he was teased on blushing by Reiko and that combined with the young man's comment on not thinking of dirty thoughts about his mother. Micheal could only just laugh,"How can I not? I mean, have you seen her?" He teased once again with a rather questionable grin plastered on his face, as he enjoyed to tease the rain guardian. However the grin gradually dropped to a small annoyed look as the two pointed out on how weird it might have seen for him to be sitting there in a cafe with a girl wearing a school uniform probably to take advantage of her,"No, I believe they might talk about how much game the man still got for trying to go out with such a pretty lady." He retorted, as an attempt to convince himself that it didn't look weird, but who was he kidding they were probably whispering on how much of a creep he was.
When Ryuu's face turned red about his comment of staying up all night with the misses and started to get a bit flustered and when he denied the remark in a squeak which made the man snicker slightly and when Ryuu mumbled some kind of comment about him not having someone to stay up with, Micheal quickly raised his index finger in objection and was going to deny it right away. After some thought it occurred to him that his current relationship hasn't been going so well, with his girlfriend talking about something along to the lines of his job and such and he never pays attention to her, but Micheal didn't remember much of the conversation on the account he wasn't listening at that time. So now she is staying at a friend's house while Micheal currently lives alone in their apartment, so instead of denying Ryuu's remark all he could say was,"T-thats none of your business..." Followed by a quick sigh on the matter.
However it seemed that the actual reason that Ryuu was sleepy was a bit more depressing then what he had assumed,"Well take that lesson to heart you two, don't do drugs." He looked at the two younger adults as he took another sip of his coffee. When Reiko spoke about getting one of Reborn's grandchildren to be her tutor in preparation of the ring battle, the thoughts of the stories of Tsunayoshi and how he was trained under the sun arcoblanco,"Well at least she is following the Primo's footsteps. It is a shame however that they couldn't agree on one candidate, making the rest of you go through all this trouble, hopefully your candidate makes it." He stated as he thought about the info that she relayed to him. He honestly didn't envy the position that the family had themselves in, but at least it wasn't a full blown ring battle like when the Primo had to, Micheal was even more relieved that there wasn't really much of a battle for the positions for his generation as he might not have made it through due to his age at the time.
His train of thought was cut off as another young man approached the trio and asked if Reiko was well, Reiko which made Micheal raise a brow at the young man. The way he addressed her didn't seem like the way a fan would approach her, which meant that he might have known Red, regardless Micheal kept a rather relaxed demeanor as he took one last drink of his coffee, which his right hand slowly moved to his hip and lightly tugged on his handcuffs. They couldn't be too careful as the Vongola had enemies, and if this was an assassin or hitman he was ready to act. "You a friend of Red here?" He asked the glasses wearing man his tone was slightly intimidating, as he wanted to make sure if things were gonna get bad, if they did he would make sure that the man wouldn't lay a finger on his two companions. Now You're Just Somebody that I used to know ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ”Uh. Do I know you?”
That wasn't the last response he’d expected, but he’d hoped to avoid anything drawing suspicion to him. When he glanced at the two men with her, he could roughly place memories to them. The blue haired one had been related to Tsunayoshi’s rain guardian. Oh the memories of the two or three times Grandpa Enma had taken him to watch the baseball games along with several other children.
He’s was also certain that the elder gentleman had in fact been one of the guardians during his father’s time, not that he would put too much investment in that. However, that didn't give him any sense of ease. Almost as if knowing he was being examined or thought of, the man asked “You a friend of Red here?”
This is not exactly how I wanted this meeting to go. I just hope the man doesn't think I don’t notice the muscles moving to grab something at his waist. Aster thought as he cracked the knuckle of his right index finger. The two black bracelets that were his weapon’s dormant state moved slightly at his bodily motion.
But the fact that they were related to Reiko through the Vongola, which was something the Simon heir couldn't ignore. In fact, it was a factor in the rather big gamble Aster was about to make.
“I am, albeit it’s been a long time. I believe I've had limited interactions with both of you, good sirs. However, before we do anything rash, let me draw something that I hope gives one of you an idea to whom I am related.” Aster spoke quietly as he pulled out a pen from his pocket and grabbed the plain white napkin that arrived with his drink.
He quickly sketched the design that was so familiar to him- previously a symbol of pride before his brother had tarnished his memory of it. As he clicked the pen and moved the napkin for the three of them to see, his eyes longingly looked at the compass like symbol of his family- the Simon family’s crest.
“If any of you realize who I am, please keep it to yourself. For now, just call me Aster. Aster Thornbrooke is how people know me nowadays.”
