Micheal is the youngest of the two kids of Lambo, the tenth lightning guardian for the Vongola familia with his sister being older only by about four years. Regardless it was rather good news for all parties as he was a bit of an surprise, but none the less his family was still happy, on the new addition. Since his youth he was given a certain standard on his performance by his father, but Micheal was quick to point out the stories he heard about his father during his younger days, only to receive a small shock from his father's lightning.
When he was growing up he would go take his usual classes at school, while spending most of his spare-time undergoing training with his lightning flames, along with his sister. Micheal did have a keen interest in learning his powers, and focused on methods on utilizing his lightning in rather interesting ways. During the training sessions Micheal noticed that his sister wasn't really putting as much effort, especially since she was the eldest of the two, and hence the heir to the next guardian position. It was odd to the guy, on that he was putting more focus into the training then her, but it remained clear when it was time to name the next generation of guardians, his sister had refused in the position in favor of stepping back from the mafia, and instead requested Micheal to take her place.
This was a shock to both Micheal and other members of the familia, but she would reassure them on Micheal's aptitude with his flames and drive to get stronger. She also told them that she planned on moving out and live a life without the fear that something was going to happen to her or her soon to be family but wished them luck, and to visit her whenever they can. This act made Micheal rather emotional and couldn't resist the urge of tears as he hugged his older sis, and promised to visit whenever he could which was a promise that he intended to keep. So after that point Micheal was the Neo Vongola's second generation Lightning Guardian, despite being a little younger then some of the others, only being around seventeen which caused some speculation in the teen but it didn't matter, as he wanted to prove them that their trust was put in the right hands.
Things were going alright for Micheal during his time as the lightning guardian as he helped his boss Ryouichi in letting the Vongola still be known as the strongest family around. The man had managed to get the respect of several of his comrades during his time as an guardian but the one incident that actually showed his true worth was during what seemed a typical plan to stop a group of smuggling some weapons to other mafia families. While there wasn't word of a lot of target's the group decided to send in Mich and the sun guardian to deal with the mess, however it wasn't as it seemed as it was merely a plan to ambush the two guardians. Of course the two fought back, however things managed to get worst as more hitmen showed up, and the two were starting to get fatigued and in the middle of the fight they actually managed to get a hold of Micheal's comrade and pinned the guardian to a grinding machine with the intent of killing him. Micheal only had a limited time to help free the guardian from the death machine, but the chains used were made from the same materials as the mammon chains so the flames were useless against them. With limited time before the guardian would be crushed and fumbling around with the chains, the sun guardian was almost free but with no time left, and with a flustered Mich trying to stop the blessed machine, he was aware of the lack of time they had. He took a long breath before doing the unthinkable, he covered his right hand in flames so them as reinforced as he possibly can and shoved his strengthen arm into the machine to manually stop the machine.
It seemed to have worked for about thirty seconds, as his hand grabbed the grinding mechanisms and allowed his partner to try to get out of the chains, and after a bit of struggling finally got free, however it was already too late for Micheal as his arm couldn't keep up with the demand of flames and his nerves were fried in the process and were subject to the grinder. He was quickly pulled out, however his arm was no long in a usable state and was quickly covered in sun flames to stop the bleeding and ease some pain, until reinforcements arrived. Micheal had passed out from the pain and sheer shock from the situation, and the next thing he knew he was lieing down on a hospital bed with tubes attached to his arm and his father and family beside him. The young guardian was then informed of his situation, and how his right hand and arm was in a state where they had to amputate them, which at first Micheal didn't believe until he raised his arm in protest, only to have to grim truth be revealed which filled the man with a fury of emotions on his situation, but was glad to hear that his comrade wasn't harmed.
He was then told about a procedure that he would be able to get a chance of another arm, and Micheal quickly agreed regardless of the chances of failure or the pain he might go through, just as long as he had a chance. Micheal went under several tests and procedures but after some trail and error, Micheal was given an cybernetic prosthetic arm and through the advances the Vongola made, the arm was even outfitted with a layer of synthetic skin to hide the mechanical limb and made it look like an everyday arm. He was rather grateful for the doctors and scientists for what they have done, and went to see both his family and fellow guardians who seemed relieved on his recovery, however it seemed other matters were at hand. You see while Micheal was doing his tests and rehabilitation the infamous incident happened in the Vongola involving the murder of the CEDEF and the boss exiling his son.
The young guardian was at a lost over the situation and when his boss died from the stress of the circumstances at hand, that was the last straw for Micheal. With the Vongola crumbling Micheal could stand and watch as his boss's legacy was coming undone and he left the Vongola despite the protests he got from some of the other members. He took a job at the police station in Italy and served for several years before finally taking the position of Detective, which he holds with pride. It wasn't until the man was about thirty-two when he was confronted by the Vindice due to his skills, and he accepted the job as he saw it as a chance to keep an eye on the Vongola and even pass on information.
• Micheal suffers from a rather troublesome dog allergy, which once he is in the presence of one his eyes start to tear up, and he starts to sneeze uncontrollably. This leads Mich to feel rather uncomfortable when he knows dogs are near and will even flee the scene if several shows up.
• Micheal was asked to be a member of the now reformed CEDEF when he became an detective, however the man had to decline saying,"Sorry, but I don't think there is a spot for a man who ran away from the Vongola. I wish you great success though."
