Kokuyo Land was an abandoned, quiet area of Namimori. The walls were filled with mold and the structure itself was unstable and old. There were even rumors that the grounds were haunted, and odd sounds came from the abandoned school. But to the newly arrived assassin, it was the perfect grounds to lure her prey: Sheeka.
It had been few weeks since she had taken down The Famiglia in her fathers home and Diana had vigorously searched for the first name on her fathers associate list. She had to travel to different sources and places to discover that her target was housed in Namimori Japan. And to be honest, even when she arrived she wasn't sure to start. That was until a man had coincidentally crossed her path. And upon the mention of Sheeka, he immediately went into the defensive and attacked The Sunshine Burst Assassin. That hadn't ended as he expected. So with the threat of his life, she told him to "Fetch boss and tell him to come to Koko Land." But because she had beaten him so bad he had bitten his tongue, she was forced to write a hastily written note. She knew that she wasn't the best with English but that didn't stop her. With her strongest efforts, she sent a note saying "Come Koko, right hurry. Dead man I kill." And upon the giggle of the messenger, she gave him another wound upon his head before sending him off.
Now she sat in the middle of the school, her face serious as she awaited for the foe she had been hunting for weeks. And many Her mind scanned the battlefield and she saw many areas that she could utilize in her battle. But one thing was at the fore front of her mind ....
"Did I spell Koko right?"

my heart is cold, please don't leave It was a lovely afternoon. The build-a-bear workshop in the city had gotten some new stuffed animals to build! Sheeka of course, had to build them. There was also the newest releases for the manga he's read as well as the fashion magazines he collected. So he had several bags of items when he got home, dumping it on the couch in the living room, but taking out a particular plush and hug on. A stuffed Toothless plushie. It was so cute! And fluffy. And just so cute!
He tossed the other plethora of plushies on his bed, telling them all to make friends with the other and that Fiona was in charge as he pointed up to a ratty, old stuffed giraffe on a shelf above the bed. His box animal in her box rattled a bit at the sound of her name, as well. He headed into the kitchen to cook something for lunch, probably some of the leftover pizza he'd made the night before...yeah. That sounded good.
There was a sudden pounding on his door and he groaned, putting down the tray as he went to fetch it. Almost falling in was one of the Riva members stationed in Japan to keep an eye on him. He was slightly beat up, with several injuries. Sheeka's eyes narrowed angrily as he helped the man to the couch, producing a first aid kit. He exchanged the kit for a note and read it over. "...Did you read this first, Lucio?"
"Uh yeah. I'm seriously not entirely sure what it says."
"Good, I thought it was just me..." He crumbled up the note and tossed it behind him into the trashcan. "Clearly whoever wrote it is a complete idiot. I suppose I should go deal with this...though in case it's a legit thing."
"You're actually going?"
"Why wouldn't I go? I can't let an idiot wandering the city indiscriminately acting members of the Riva! God forbid they do something intelligent and actually kill one of us or go afraid members of the Spiaggia. I love my family and all, but not one of them besides Sayomi is capable of knowing the difference between 'kill or be killed." Sheeka stated evenly as he headed into his bedroom. He opened his closet door, pushed aside several loose clothes on the floor. He opened the floor, revealing dozens of various throwing knives and knives. He strapped several sheaths to his body in inconspicuous places and closed the hidden trap door to his knife collection and stood up straight after getting all her needed. He tapped his foot against the back wall and the lid fell back down to cover the knife collection. Sheeka inserted Segno into a small hole in the wall and activated his mist flames. There was a click, signalling that the trap door had locked.
Headed back into the living room, he watched for a moment as the member of the Riva patched up his injuries. "I'll call when I'm finished...if I don't in like...2 hours...then you may worry and panic."
"Yes, sir."
Sheeka slipped out of his apartment, but instead of taking the road he took to the rooftops. His skill in parkour and freerunning made making it across the tops of the buildings easily, as mist flames weaved around him, hiding him from sight. When there were no more buildings to go across, Sheeka dropped down just outside of Kokuyo Land...or Koko land as it was put. He was going about this smartly and he wasn't going to go in guns blazing like a Spiaggia member, but like a Riva. It was that branch of the family who'd been attacked. Mist flames flared to lift on the Segno hell ring as he traced the kanji for "shadow" in the air with mist flames. Invisible to the human eye now, Sheeka padded lightly into Kokuyo land, keeping an eye out for his 'would be' assassin.

She awaited in the middle of the old building, her dress lightly swaying in the afternoon breeze. With her box weapon in one hand and the ring in her other, she simply stared in one direction, hoping that at any moment her opponent would appear. But after a sizable amount of time passed, Miss Valentine came to the conclusion that she had beaten up her message carrier a little too much. "Must've been last hit ..." She concluded with a shrug. He had tested her with that giggle at the note.
Or maybe he had run away? Diana suddenly glared her eyes in a random direction. He could've easily tried to escape after the beating The Blonde "Assassin" gave him. And she suddenly felt paranoid. He could've went to the authorities by now! He could've went to anybody but who she told him to go to. That man better have conciou-
Then, for just a moment, she felt a presence. And on instinct she inserted her ring into her box weapon, charging it with yellow sun flames and unleashing her morning star which rested into her hands in an upraised position. She quickly went into battle mode, looking left and right for the source of the energy. But just as it was there, it was gone. Almost as if it wasn't there in the first place. And this discomforted Diana.
So she decided with a start, she would take a look around. Sauntering through the building, she would start to investigate and walk around the broken bits and pieces of Kokuyo Land, believing now that her enemy was hiding somewhere. "Come out my little myshka!" She screamed to no one in particular. And the nickname "myshka" was usually used as endearment but in this case, it was to describe her prey. But then she realized that her target might speak Japanese so switching from English to Japanese, she started to shout. "[Come and face me!]"

my heart is cold, please don't leave Sheeka debated on what his plan of action would be as he lightly padded through the old, abandoned amusement park. He didn't want to outright kill this assassin because she could be just a middle man. No. He wanted to question her and figure out who she was and who sent her. If they were an enemy of either of the Riva, or the Spiaggia then he would kill her right there. His current intention would be to subdue and interrogate, over eliminate. He did know that most assassins wouldn't talk. If they informed their target of their employer, then it lessened their value as an assassin. They were hired guns to do dirty work nobody wanted to connect back to them. They were specialized killers who targeted a certain demographic of people. They didn't kill indiscriminately, usually.
There was only one person and Sheeka was surprised to see a female, around his age looking ready for combat. He inwardly snorted, a soft smirk across his boyish good looks. She wouldn't know what hit her. Clearly, she hadn't done her research on the young Riva heir and the Mist Guardian of the Spaiggia. He blinked as she yelled, obviously for him and again his smiled. She knew he was there...but not where. She knew he'd been there and had simply disappeared. She didn't know the capabilities of the Segno Hell Ring or his Mare Ring, at all.
A couple of sharp throwing knives appeared between his left hand's fingers, made of mist flames. He'd save his true knives for a rainy moment. All of them were hidden by a thin layer of mist flames on his body. The thing with illusions was that they worked best on an unsuspecting subject. She wouldn't know what to expect as his appearance, or if she did...she would see a cute little boy instead of a knife-wielding assassin shota. Sheeka hurled his knives forward, each of them landing successfully where he aimed in front of her. The mist flame hilts then formed in a pair of twin pythons, lunging towards her body in an attempt to wrap her in their grasp.
At that, Sheeka stepped forward from the shadows, toying with a sharp knife in his fingers. "Your grammar is atrocious, by the way. Who taught you how to spell? A monkey? Ugh. I thought Rai was dumb, but you might take the cake for asinine behavior."

The silence continued in the clearing for moments longer as no response was given to the blonde Russian. And she soon felt herself doubting that she had felt anything in the first place. Maybe her instincts had been off? Then, from behind her she heard a piercing sound and sharp blades stabbed into the ground in front of her. She stepped back, unprepared for the sudden objects appearing before her. Then something in her brain switched as she recognized the familiar purple flames of the Mist. But it was too late as the blades formed into twin pythons and lunged at her, wrapping her body as she growled and struggled against their grasp.
Then her adversary stepped out of the shadows and Diana turned, ready to face her opponent. And in all her time hunting Sheeka, she had many different ideas of what he looked like in her mind. Maybe a sleek, muscular man all fitted in a suit. Or the strong, hulking figure of a bald man. But what stepped from the shadows, toying with his little knife was none of those.
It was the most adorable little kid.
And for a moment, Ana's eyes widened. But she quickly regained her angry look as she continued to struggle. Being taught all that she had when she was so young, she was never surprised at the appearance of young people "in the life". In fact, it was almost expected to see younger people in the life than older people. So she thought of him just as any other enemy. Just ... maybe not the fact she had a hidden urge to pinch his cheeks.
But when he spoke, she couldn't help but raise her eyebrows. She only slightly understood what he was saying, but some of the words that were thrown into the mix threw her off. Atrosees? Ass-a-nine? What the hell was that? Suddenly feeling a little less confident in her words, she spoke up. "Y-you're dumb! And release these pythons! Face me like a real ma- child. Okay, I don't know age but fight fair!

my heart is cold, please don't leave He was so right about her reaction to his appearance. He was obviously pleased with himself for that fact. The fact that Sheeka was more often mistaken for a young child, nine or ten at the least, was both good and bad. Good in the sense it meant that people underestimated his abilities and hesitated when it came to the first blows of combat, but bad because...he was not a child! He did not always enjoy being treated like one. He hadn't been a child since the night his mother had died.
Although, it was never surprising to see anybody young in the mafia anymore. For some reason, a lot of them seemed to be of the teenager crowd. It was like adults retired as soon as their kids hit puberty and operated from the shadows. the only reason adults like Arashi and Kaoru were still active were because they didn't have kids to take over? Maybe not. The Riva was mostly adult, but it just seemed most of the guardian sets and the new leaders of the families were young adults. Technically, he supposed if that trend was followed he would have already inherited the Riva...or at least his half. It had been agreed that the two halves of the Riva mafia family - the mafia half and then the business half would be split up between Sheeka and his adoptive sister, Lanza. Lanza was taking the mafia half, ironically enough, while Sheeka was taking the business half. It was partially because it mean Sheeka had more freedom being able to work under his sister in the mafia than he would have been the boss.
He raised an eyebrow at the other demanded to be freed from his pythons, oddly amused by the demand. Why in the world would he release the one who wanted to fight and kill him? He snorted, annoyed at her changing man to child. He was not a child! He was a man! He huffed in annoyance, grumbling angrily. "I am not a child!" he bit out, scowling at her in annoyance. "I am nineteen years old!" He huffed slightly. "I am under no obligation to release you...I mean...who would release the person trying to kill them? It seems counterproductive to living..." Of course, the pythons wouldn't hold her for long. Mist flames were notoriously fickle about their nature. He was ready for when that happened, but he continued to speak while fiddling with his stiletto. "I'm hoping you'll inform me who sent you...because I don't appreciate assassins attempting to you know...assassinate me? I want to deal with that before things get...messy." He swung his knife pointedly through the air, smiling cutely. It was something about a cute child swinging a knife that was both endearingly adorable and threatening in some way...
He raised an eyebrow at her comeback and sighed. She really wasn't that bright of a girl. "Oh...that was literally the best comeback ever," he stated, the sarcasm laced heavily in his voice. He still wasn't gonna release her. Granted, he could see the pythons beginning to wither. He hadn't really put in as much mist flames to keep her pinned long. He activated his Mare Ring this time, opening his box weapon as his illusion knife faded into the mist and a pair of short swords found their way into his hands. A Japanese tanto and an Italian stiletto. The mist flames at the end of each weapon flickered and moved as the true length of both weapons was hidden. They both were of differing lengths, but looked to be about the length of the stiletto, which was shorter than that of the tanto.
With the usage of both rings, the Segno Hell Ring and the Mare Ring of the Mist were visible. With his blades at the ready, he hoped she would at least provide some reasoning behind her attack before the pythons faded from his earlier commentary. But when they did, he would be ready. Knives didn't stack up too well against a mace, but he could make do. He had a way to deal with blunt instruments aiming for his head. He couldn't help it if his head was the perfect height to be swung at.

It was a strange feeling, hunting down a potentially deadly assassin that was associated with her father. And when coming face to face with that adversary to be met by a child. Diana suddenly found thoughts popping into her head as she struggled against her restraints. Did her father recruit him against his wishes? Was he ... being violated by her father? And she suddenly felt more anger swell up inside her, rekindling her purpose for being there. But then the kid told her something she couldn't believe.
he was nineteen?
She would've believed him if he said sixteen, or ten, but he was the same age as her! She found her eyebrows soaring to new heights she looked at him in disbelief. There was no way. She found herself smirking at his cute little face as it heated up. Especially when he explain it wouldn't make sense for him to release her. Switching back to Japanese, she teased him. "[Oh of COURSE you're nineteen sweetie.]" She cooed as she smiled at him.
But when he started to question who sent her, she felt her teasing subside as it was replaced with a scowl. She continued to struggle as her voice elevated. "[Don't act like you don't know me! Where is my father!? And it won't be you messing anything!]"
She started to feel the bonds of the mist pythons loosen up as she continued to listen to him. When he told her she had given him the best comeback ever, she smiled. "[Of course, I've been saving the best for you!]' And just as she was saying this, she felt the pythons getting weaker and weaker. Her morning star was still gripped in her hand and she went back to smirking, this time in confidence as he summoned his blades. "[Good, get out your weapons, I wouldn't want this to be easy!]' And just as she said this, she broke from the pythons, charging at Sheeka as she gripped her weapon in both hands. And just as she was reached him, she hoisted the mace underhand and swung it upwards towards his face. It was time to ruin this pretty little man.

my heart is cold, please don't leave She gave him this look when he had told her his age and it was a look of absolute disbelief. She didn't believe him! Ugh. Of course she didn't. Nobody did. Not even Sheng. Sheng could have been there, at his birth, nineteen years ago and still not believe him on his age. It was frustrating. It was so hard for him to get into bars when he wanted to because even with a real ID, they believed that it was fake. Sheeka had to go to the police station to retrieve his ID and have his adoptive father call them on more than one occasion and insist on his age of nineteen. Needless to say, he was never happy to be mistaken for a child.
"Don't patronize me," Sheeka snapped in annoyance. He was nineteen god damn it! He just...looked young for his age. He aged well! That was it. He aged well. Gods...he sounded like some old lady now who received a complement on how young she looked. "You can believe what you want...but /I/ know how old I am even if others don't or don't even believe me when I tell them." He snorted in annoyance, then groaned as he wasted precious time ranting about things. Damn it. He flung his arms into the air in exasperation. "Ugh. I'm not even gonna bother with this...there's a more important topic on hand." He clearly was telling this to himself...he couldn't get too mad about his height and age problems. It was a weakness of his.
"I don't know!" Sheeka insisted, blinking as she mentioned her father and that he would know where he is. Who was she talking about? His own adoptive father, Alessandro, was completely homosexual and only had adopted kids. Celino only had bedroom eyes for Alessandro...who was she even talking about? "I'm not sure who you're even talking about! The only men I know who could have such an old daughter is Papa, but he's a flaming homosexual, and Celino, who only has the bedroom eyes for Papa!" He was so confused....of course there was also Rai's dad and his grandfather? No. No way. They didn't look the same at all. All of Rai's family had the dark hair. Granted, she could have inherited the blonde hair from her mother? No. She didn't even looking remotely like Raitaro or his family. Then again, he didn't look remotely like his father...but what about his own father? Faust had sandy blonde hair while his mother had sported the darker shade of brunette that Sheeka had taken. She couldn't be looking for his father, could she? He wasn't involved in the mafia, though. What the hell.
Sheeka groaned as he felt the headache come on, she was free now and he didn't have time for this shit! She was headache inducing! He didn't know her father. It was frustrating that she thought he did. "What's his na..." Sheeka started to speak again, to ask for his name...maybe then he'd know what the fuck she was talking about. It was too late, though. His binds had released her and she had automatically lunged forward. He growled as she aimed for his face. Don't hit his cute face! He leaned backwards as the mace's sun flames ruffled his brown locks of hair and continued to move backwards as he back hand sprung away, aiming a kick for her jaw. He was far more flexible and had more agility than her because of his obviously smaller size. He also was a mist user and mist flame users rarely took part in melee combat. Sheeka, along with Mukuro Rokudo in the past had been one of a few exceptions to the rule. He shifted back several feet, resting on the balls of his feet. He needed to think of a plan and a plan that didn't involve killing her. For now, he'd probably duck and dodge her attacks until he got a measure of her fighting style and skill. Sheeka bounced lightly on the balls of his feet, already prepared for her next attack. "You missed," he stated mildly. "Wanna try again?"
