Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be  This was just a random moment of the two being around each other. Ryker had shown up early to get Alexei so they could go get some supplies. After all the clinic needed some more, he'd made a list the day before. Even if he didn't know why he was still helping. Of course maybe his debt wasn't paid but Ryker was working harder then he needed to. Tugging Alexei out of bed had almost become a routine for him and Ryker didn't mind it one bit. But Ryuu, those things Ryuu said were still bouncing around in his head. Was Alexei bad? There had to be something going on there he didn't understand. Or perhaps he was just blinded by something and looking into it way too much again. When he was given options or opinions from others he did those things. "Come on Alexei! we have a lot of stuff to get, you walk so slow." Ryker was hyperactive and bouncy again. Or perhaps he was nervous about something else. That fluttering in his stomach would not go away. He did not understand it but he almost wondered if Ryuu would show up. Maybe he'd text Ryuu, and ask him to save his ass. Not that he needed it. Ryker was stuck between Ryuu showing up or just going on with Alexei. He figured out what to do from here anyway, he felt a bit strange to be out here with a guy. Even if he was trying to tell himself it was only a shopping trip and nothing more. Simple thoughts really but were they ever that simple? Perhaps not. Ryker still felt panicked under the surface. What else was he supposed to say at this point? Would it even help, he felt like he needed to just stop talking or keep talking till he rambled away all his nerves. Too bad it never worked that easily anyway. Maybe Alexei would just do something else. What else could they do? Besides just get these supplies. They'd end up getting a lot of supplies and things for the clinic if they focused on that. Ryker was only trying to do the same thing, no matter how stressed out he might have felt right now. This whole situation worried him. Because he didn't know what might happen. That fluttery feeling needed to disappear so this could just end normally instead. ALEXEI VIOLA |
