Why the hell was he even wasting his time here? Yea he needed to kill Ryuu. It was his orders but Gavril felt like this was seriously just a bunch of banter and other things. It was not even worth that much to him, but then again would it ever be? That was very likely to be a no it wouldn't no matter how he looked at it. Gavril tightened his grip on his sword, he knew he had to fight now. The boy hated to use illusions unless they suited his needs which at this point they did. The spiders did that for him, even though it'd not matter. Gavril didn't even get why he laughed.
He did not want to open up. He would rather avoid that situation in general. Opening up was not his style. Specially not to the person he was trying to kill. Gavril had to stop doing this. Stop letting Ryuu get under his skin, it was just so annoying to honestly have right now. "Hah right, I bet you do somewhere in there Mr. Sarcastic." He didn't want to deal with this, but Gavril knew he had to. The spiders were still going after Ryuu and his box animal. He didn't want to use them anymore but he didn't dispel them.
"I'm not interested I suppose. But would you rather me call you ugly, filthy and any other word in the book. You should be more focused that you are going to die." Ryuu would have to realize Gavril was not going to give up anytime soon. It seemed simple enough in his mind anyway. Gavril needed to stop letting his mind wander, he had to murder this guy. Make sure he never walked again. Maybe he should take the spiders away but watching Ryuu try to avoid them was actually fun. It amused a lot more then he'd admit anyway. "Oh well my spiders just wanted to play with you a little. I'm just watching you, and waiting to see how long it takes you to crack." Though he knew an attack was going to come soon. He was still waiting in his defensive stance.
The Mist flames covered his blade as he waited for the attack to hit. He was getting back in the game as the spiders started to fade away back into the mist. Before Ryuu got closer to him he tried to toss mist spikes at his ...annoying opponent. Hoping the spike like mist flames would catch Ryuu and cut him open. He figured if Ryuu ran through them then they could just clash with blades again.

We were the fire on the moonlit skies Ryuu rolled his eyes, amused. "I'm pretty sure I've already gone over it, but I'll repeat myself for your tiny little brain to comprehend. I'm not going to die, at least not by your hand. I'm hoping for old age," Ryuu stated evenly. He had too many people to care about him if he died. He didn't want to die. Not like his father who had died leaving behind pain when he had. His mother and himself had been hurt so much by his passing...Ryuu didn't want his mother going through pain like that and he definitely didn't want Silvia to hurt like that either. She'd already lost both of her parents, she didn't need to lose him too.
"I'm not going to die because I have too many people I want to live for. That's my resolve. My will to live to live with those that I care about and keep them safe!" Rain flames burst life, his dying will as strong as ever. Like he said, his will was strong and he wasn't about to let Gavril kill him for his own petty vendetta against him. Ryuu had never done anything to him, so he still wasn't quite sure why the other wanted him dead. He wanted to know, to try to fix that. Gavril was what...his age? Give or take, he didn't know exactly, but the other was too young for Ryuu to take his life. If Ryuu's suspicions were correct, then the other had never really lived for himself, but for his tyrannical father. Ryuu hated families that were like that. Fathers that would treat their sons like that. Ryuu's absent father, especially when he had been really close to him when he was a child, was a painful aspect of his life that still left a gaping wound that had only scabbed over and never truly healed.
With Ryuu's sword thrust forward with his axel of rain, the rain flames coating it...the spikes being thrown towards him weren't much of a deterrent to him. He merely poured more flames into what was already there, enough to cause the spikes to stop in mid-air and allow his forward blade to push them out of his way. One or two managed to shallowly cut him still, but there didn't deter him much. He swung his blade, to clash yet again with Gavril's, pushing him back with one arm and coating his fist with rain flames. It shot forward, aiming for his jaw. He only had one sword and a free hand. Why not? Ryuu lived on being slightly unpredictable in combat.

Gavril shook his head, this game of back and forth was getting old. And he wanted to go home and sleep. His energy was starting to fade suddenly as much as he hated it. What the hell was he supposed to do? Gavril knew he was supposed to kill him but this was not what he was thinking about now either really. Fighting was the thing he had to focus on even if he didn't like this. Gavril felt like there was pain in his body even though he knew he hadn't been hurt that badly right? It would have been without him knowing which would not be likely. Gavril tried to plan his next move without losing his step or losing his focus. "You will die, I make sure of that. So shut the hell up! At least I guess you can make it interesting maybe." Not that he cared, he was just not exactly in the mood for this situation. What else could he do?
All of this was fighting, it always had to be fighting. He didn't care what people thought. Ryuu had to die too just like the others, he'd eventually end up being killed. Nothing else he could do no matter what happened. Gavril might want to stop this but it was already supposed to happen. Sighing lightly he just tugged his sword back and then brought it forward again, Ryuu was charging him. "That will to live will get you killed eventually, you'll get too cocky. All of you Vongola brats too, it's a bad habit of yours." Good for him for having a reason to live. Not really though. Gavril could care less as he tried to chomp down on Ryuu's hand. Feeling the flames in his mouth barely bothered him, though it kinda hurt.
He did not let go of Ryuu's hand and tried to sink his teeth further into the skin. After all the flames bothered him but he'd deal with it later on when he needed to. Gavril was almost acting like some form of a puppy dog maybe, that sounded a lot like him. And like the things he did anyway at this point. He knew this was not exactly a good idea, or an assassin thing but it was the only thing he thought of at the time. So what. Kill him for it later, or yell at him like his father likely would. Gavril had no fucks to give when it came to that jerk of a man. He was just too rude for Gavril to even want to deal with him anyway.
They were both quite unpredictable when they wanted to be after all.

We were the fire on the moonlit skies "You're gonna make sure of that?" Ryuu asked, raising an eyebrow before shooting back another comeback at him. "Well, I'm gonna make sure that doesn't happen...and I'm not sure where you're getting these facts about cocky Vongola members," Ryuu stated snarkily. Out of the last few generations, Hibari was probably the most cocky and arrogant out of them all the way he rampaged in battle, wanting to fight anybody he deemed strong. Ryuu was thankful that Ryker hadn't inherited Hibari's overzealous tendencies when it came to fighting. They didn't need two fighting junkies in their family. Ryuu was enough. He wasn't exactly sure where he got it, though...
It was rare that somebody in combat actually managed to surprise him with an unpredictable move...Gavril did manage to though, as the other's teeth sank into his wrist. Ryuu wasn't really sure what to think besides how juvenile biting somebody was! It was just so...childish. Granted, Ryuu had thrown a cabbage back at Gavril earlier, which he had to admit had been overly childish of him. At least he didn't bite him like the other was doing! Gross! Who knows what kind of bacteria were living in Gavril's mouth! Ryuu wasn't a germaphobe, really...but when you go to medical school, thoughts like these did tend to come up. He saw normal things in medical terms.
Well...if that's how Gavril was going to play it! Ugh. He just wanted the other to let for of his wrist already. He was like some little ankle-biter dog right now! Although, the fact that Gavril hadn't let go of his hand yet was something of a blessing at the moment. Ryuu quickly pinpointed the exact location he needed, his knowledge of human anatomy yet again coming in handy. Ryuu's only other weapon, his katana named Taiyou - Sun - suddenly dropping from his hand and clattering to the ground. Ryuu didn't bother with the rain flames this time as his fingers jabbed sharply into Gavril's carotid artery. The carotid artery was an important artery in the neck because it contained baroreceptors, small cells that sent messages to the brain to control blood pressure. The interference from a hit to that particular artery would disrupt and send Gavril's blood pressure into a rapid decline, enough that there wouldn't be enough oxygen in his heart or his brain to keep him consciousness. It would only last a few minutes, but it would be enough for Ryuu to knock him unconscious. Of course, the other could react badly and die...but he was well-versed in first aid...so the chances of the other dying were actually really low in Ryuu's eyes.
More often than not, whenever Ryuu did a hit he often did it in this highly efficient manner rather than cutting them down where they stood and causing potential blood splatter and transfer with his blades. Ryuu's years of medical knowledge made him a clean and efficient assassin, with or without his swords. Had Ryuu chosen to use rain flames, he could have very well caused the other to die from the tranquility effect causing the blood pressure to plummet even more.

"Ah crap..." Ringo sighed as he walked over to the apartment building of Ryuu Yamamoto. He was told he was getting rested there and as such, Ringo might as well check up on him and make sure he wasn't getting hurt. Seesh, the trouble that guy causes Ringo though to himself as he started to head over to where Ryuu's door was. He wanted to say at this rate he's going to give Silvia white hair...but he'd rather keep the rest of that tasteless joke to himself. He raised his hand to make a decently hard knock on the door. "Hmmm..." It's been almost thirty minutes since he last knocked on the door. Were the two asleep? Ringo started to consider the possibility. "I'll try Ryuu then Silvia. If that doesn't work..." Ringo's hands sparked with lighting for a moment. He dug through his pocket and took out his phone. He waited...and waited...and there was nothing. "Welp time to call Silvia and if that doesn't..." Ringo heard his phone ring and then he picked it up. "Mom do you know what time it i-?""I heard rumors about a guy sword fighting near Koko land.""That is not even remotely close if you're talking about what I think you're talking about.""Just go over there, I was watching some dramas." Ringo did not doubt that his father was right there silently begging for a chance to escape. "Just check the place out at least. Don't worry about Silvia, I'm sure she is asleep." Ringo nodded as he closed his phone...he wasn't up for asking how Chizuru can be so confident in her answer. Ringo darted straight into Kokyou land. Looks like it was abandoned as ever...or at least it should be. He right away drew out his box and placed some Thunder flames with in it, instantly equipping his gauntlets. Ringo walked over to Ryuu...and a particularly unique individual. He eyed the glasses wearing individual but it was clear he was talking to Ryuu. "So. You get yourself in trouble and decide to sneak out. Lovely. Sure is good there isn't anyone at home that could be worrying about you." Ringo bent down to the glasses boy's level. "So...this is certainly a fix." Ringo's gauntlets began to spark. "Does he need a defibrillator?"Tagged: Open Music: None Notes: Have an apple.

We were the fire on the moonlit skies Ryuu wasn't really sure what to do with Gavril now. He was unconscious. Ryuu didn't really fancy himself a kidnapper...especially when he really had nowhere to put a body. There was always his mother, he supposed...but he didn't think she'd appreciate him waking her up in the middle of the night with this. It was probably best to just leave him there. Ryuu didn't want to kill him, but there was also no place to kidnap him to at the moment.
He had just made sure that he hadn't outright killed the other when Amaya made a noise, indicating that somebody was coming. It wasn't an aggressive noise, so Ryuu knew it was a friendly person. He winced, almost dreading that it could be Silvia. He hadn't actually told her where he was going and had sort of snuck out after she'd gone to bed. It was okay though, right? It wasn't like he hadn't been out in the middle of the night before. He was a trained assassin who did work with the Varia and the Vongola as needed. She couldn't be too mad at him, right?
But it was just Ringo. Wait. What the hell was Ringo doing there? Ryuu knew the other's habits of over-protection and just trying to literally turn into the lightning rod of the family...or the punching bag, more likely. Ryuu snorted, standing up straight as he pulled his sword out of the ground where it was stuck and still stood. He carefully placed both blades in their box, rolling his eyes as he made the bleeding on his hand stop. The bites were sort of shallow, so it stopped bleeding fairly fast. And best part was, he hadn't dripped blood onto the ground or anything like that.
Ringo made a sarcastic comment about how he had somebody at home worrying about him and Ryuu sighed, rolling his eyes habitually at the other. Ringo was worse than his mother with his over protective streak! "Silvia was asleep when I left and she sleeps through the night unless something wakes her..." Ryuu stared at Ringo for a moment, hoping and praying to some sort of god out there that Ringo hadn't gone by his house and woken up Silvia.
"How EXACTLY did you know I was here and not at home, Ringo?" Ringo hovered over Gavril, asking if he needed a defibrillator and Ryuu pulled the other back away from him. "He'll be conscious again soon...what I did would only keep him out for a few minutes...and Ringo, you're not a defibrillator. It's a bad idea to have somebody with no medical knowledge attempting to restart a heart...and he's fine," Ryuu waved his slightly injured hand dismissively. "I'm still not even sure why you're so worried. I'm perfectly capable! I've been trained by the best sword masters and the best assassins, you know! I don't need you acting like you need to protect me or something. I can do that myself."

"Ah crap..." "Silvia was asleep when I left and she sleeps through the night unless something wakes her..." Ryuu said. "How EXACTLY did you know I was here and not at home, Ringo?" "I heard a rumor or two. That might mean CEDEF is prepared to clean up whatever mess..." Ringo said as he motioned to the downed glasses boy. "...that was caused here.""He'll be conscious again soon...what I did would only keep him out for a few minutes...and Ringo, you're not a defibrillator. It's a bad idea to have somebody with no medical knowledge attempting to restart a heart...and he's fine," Ringo stopped charging his gauntlets but he still eyed the boy that seemed to have bitten Ryuu. "I'm still not even sure why you're so worried. I'm perfectly capable! I've been trained by the best sword masters and the best assassins, you know! I don't need you acting like you need to protect me or something. I can do that myself.""CEDEF might be able to clean messes and get us intelligence but even they can't stop the police should they decide to pay a visit and if they caught wind of sword fighting going on here, chances are random passerbys might've reported to police and I sure as hell hoping the Varia or someone else has to wipe your record clean again." Ringo now focused on Ryuu with a very unimpressed look. "Anyhow what are we going to do about him?"Tagged: Open Music: None Notes: These two should form a comedy club

Being knocked out was totally part of the plan. He had totally meant to let that happen. No one would notice anything else about it, minus maybe his dick of a father. But that man was a jerk and should die already die, it'd be simple as usual. It'd be a great thing anyway wouldn't it. For his father to watch this fight and only be concerned about that guy, Ryuu was always his favorite. Always the important one and it made Gavril so irritated. So fucking pissed off that he didn't know what the hell to even do. As he laid there and started to come back into his senses. It didn't help that he felt overly groggy. Just what the hell was even going on with him right now. Flames were dangerous but they couldn't be that dangerous correct? Maybe? Hopefully. Either way Gavril was stuck here right now staring at a wall anyway.
The fact that there were suddenly two people when he woke up. that was a weird enough thing so he forced his body up off of the ground and kept on walking. Maybe he'd end up finding out what he was supposed to do from here regardless. It'd probably be okay, at least he thought and hoped it'd be okay. But what did he really know, he was always a bit too reckless for his own good. Maybe he could use this chance to just sneak the heck out of here before someone noticed. Mainly Ryuu, he'd really rather not deal with him again. Not today at least. Maybe tomorrow they could play again but he wasn't so sure about that either. He listened to most of the conversation till the attention was off of him and Gavril was gone.
Not here, not there. Not anywhere and he had no plans to be found. He just disappeared back into his own little world where he'd never be found till he needed to hunt Ryuu again. Gavril and Ryuu were just born to be enemies because of the family and the connections they shared with other people. It was not like they would have wanted this, but too late to change it all now. This had already happened, and as Gavril left he wondered what might happen if it was different.
[ and Gavril's exit, sorta, likely stalking somewhere but hey!!! ]

We were the fire on the moonlit skies Ryuu crossed his arms over his chest, raising an eyebrow at Ringo in some from of amusement. "Mess? What mess? There's nothing to clean up. Granted, they may have had to do something earlier when I fought him near headquarters...but that so isn't my fault." Ryuu stated rather evenly. There really wasn't anything for them to clean up. He was just probably gonna leave after he'd finished his fight with Gavril. He doubted that other would have been in much of a talking mood after being knocked out like he was.
Ryuu noticed Gavril stir out of the corner of his eye, but allowed it. There was no reason for him to stay there, especially outnumbered as he was and Ryuu wasn't going to deal with taking him in and Ryuu definitely wasn't going to let CEDEF have him, either. He would get nowhere with the other male if that happened! Gavril was a good rival to keep up his own skills with. He wouldn't let himself get too cocky while fighting him, but the truth was that Ryuu didn't mind fighting the other and there was the off chance that CEDEF would keep him awhile to figure something out. Or kill him. There was always that.
Ryuu rolled his eyes as Ringo continued to lecture him, this time mentioning the police and at that, Ryuu pointed into the sky where his box animal was yet again, circling. "Amaya's keeping an eye for police cars or anybody who doesn't belong here...and you seem to think that I'm incapable of intelligent thought processes, Ringo. I'm not sure about /you/ but I have been trained by the best assassins in the world, so there's no way that a police officer with minimal amounts of training could catch me if I really wanted to get away." Ryuu was silent enough on his feet and able to knock somebody out without too many issues. "I've also called Arashi and he says he's going to handle my arrest record tomorrow. Your worry is really unwarranted."
Ryuu smiled, innocently. "What am I going to do about who?" he stated, gesturing wildly to the now empty spot that the other had been, but no longer was. He figured the other would sneak away while Ryuu and Ringo were 'discussing' Ryuu's habits. "He's gone already. You were too busy lecturing me me about my habits to notice," Ryuu stated with a small laugh. He patted Ringo's head for a moment. "Don't worry. He's a trained assassin...he would have snuck away at some point, anyway." Ryuu wasn't going to drop the fact that he was also a mist user, which would have made it all the more easy to sneak away. "Only this time, he did it without having to hurt you or CEDEF members to do it. Isn't that great?"
No, Ryuu. That wasn't great. It was even less great as Amaya dropped down from the sky onto Ringo's head, pointing a wing in the direction of a police vehicle. She dropped to the ground, pushed her head against Ryuu's legs and started pushing him in the opposite direction. "Time to go?" he questioned the griffin who snapped at the back of his heels, urging him to move it. "Time to go. Come on, Sparky! You know what to do, Amaya." At this, the house-cat sized griffin slunk off into the night towards the police to provide a distraction.
"See, Sparky? I'm prepared!" Ryuu stated obnoxiously as he headed off towards the back of the park. His footsteps were silent against the ground as he did what he did best, silent movement and gracefulness as an assassin. "Try not to sound like a stampeding heard of elephant, Sparky."

"Ah crap..." "Mess? What mess? There's nothing to clean up. I'm not sure about /you/ but I have been trained by the best assassins in the world, so there's no way that a police officer with minimal amounts of training could catch me if I really wanted to get away." "There is this thing called exercising caution and the fact that the law shows no problems sending twenty plus guys after us at a time!" Ringo sighed. This was going to be an exercise in patience. At least Ryuu set up security of some form. "I've also called Arashi and he says he's going to handle my arrest record tomorrow. Your worry is really unwarranted.""Of course...""What am I going to do about who?" Ringo arched an eyebrow and looked over to see the downed boy no longer present. Ringo looked around hastily to try to see if he can track him but he hated to admit it, but this guy was good at hiding his tracks. "He's gone already. You were too busy lecturing me me about my habits to notice," Ringo felt further agitation as Ryuu patted him on his head. "Don't worry. RIngo's head was not left alone as Amaya dropped from the sky on to his head. "Time to go?" The animal communicated to Ryuu. Ringo looked over in the direction Amaya came from. "Time to go. Come on, Sparky! You know what to do, Amaya." Ringo sighed at the mention of his nickname. "See, Sparky? I'm prepared Try not to sound like a stampeding heard of elephant, Sparky." "I was raised by CEDEF, sush you Squeeze." Ringo said as he dashed on after. Tagged: Open Music: None Notes: These two should form a comedy club

I want to see the splendor of people's souls. Honestly had he gotten any sleep? No of course not, nothing was easy enough for him to actually get involved in. For a moment he thought he might be able to but no he had to take care of his little girl, put her to bed and so on really. He needed to go back to work. But of course he'd rather not talk about that. Makoto had gotten some alerts and now here he was. Sitting in his car driving down the street. Luca was likely asleep by his office in that room they had for the over nighters and the people who needed a place to stay. Which Makoto was one of the late night workers of course. But he needed to respond to this call. Work needed to be done so he could put food on his daughter's plate. Give her things she needed for school, and so on. Makoto wanted her to live a better life then he even had. It sounded pretty simple as he drove closer to that land he had been told of. The mafia hung out here, or fought here. Well either way Makoto would figure something out. He'd learn more about them as soon as he could, bring them down. Make this a little bit safer for his girl. Really just what would be out here? He couldn't help but wonder if he'd find something good. Finally get some information about things he needed to know. People he needed to save and so on. However it'd probably not matter at that same moment either. Sighing lightly he just wished he could get this over with, figure out his job and get it all over with. Not too likely to even happen though of course. It'd be too easy if things went as planned regardless. Makoto had learned that so long ago. This whole situation was weird but of course as he got out of the car, he glanced around. He was going to find something here hopefully. However just what would it do if he got caught by someone. No he was a cop he didn't need to think about that. He could handle it. He did hear voices, people were talking and he had crept up on them. This was not okay, not in the very least. But Makoto tugged his gun out of his pocket quietly. Waiting as he listened to the conversation at hand here. What was going to happen, would they run? Very likely. People did not stay put and he didn't want to shoot anyone. Makoto only shot people he really needed to which right now he hoped it would not go that way. That animal was not someone he could trust, he left his car on but only to keep the focus there, maybe they'd think he went elsewhere. Makoto had snuck up on them after all and was only just listening in from a safe distance. That kid ...he knew one of those voices. Ryuu's maybe? It sounded like him but what was he even talking about. An assassin and there was another kid here. This didn't make any sense to Makoto. He wanted to say something but no he just kept quietly listening to what Ryuu and this small person who looked almost girly were saying. He was going to say something but no he didn't, they were running. Makoto needed to go after them but should he really. Makoto didn't want to drag this out any longer but he did try to follow them. RYUU YAMAMOTO, RINGO SHIRO |
