my heart is cold, please don't leave
He really didn't want to involve his Family in this mess that he'd found himself in...but there wasn't much helping it. After his initial investigation as well as the information he'd gathered from the various brokers he knew, he came to the conclusion that this was something he definitely needed help with. He loathed to drag his family into his missions, though. None of them knew the first thing about subtly, let alone could kill somebody if it called for it. Sayomi, maybe...but he trusted her about as far as he could throw her, which wasn't far. Sure, their relationship wasn't completely one of hatred for the other, but she was a bit off her rocker and that definitely affected a relationship.
He sighed, wondering who he should ask within the family. It wasn't like they wouldn't help him...Rai might be difficult to motivate, but once he heard the premise for this job...it was likely that he'd join in. It was likely that he also would just for the chance to see Sheeka dress up like a girl...but that wasn't the point. Sheeka sipped carefully at the tea he'd made, sitting on the rooftop of the inazuma's dojo. The roof seemed to be his favorite location. He could keep an eye on things from there...and he just liked being there. It was a nice place to relax. He flipped through a folder, the photos of at least a dozen young girls staring up at him, each marked as a missing child over the course of the last month and a half. There was nothing linking them, besides the fact they were all cute, young girls and had frequented the same internet cafe in the area. He'd investigated it several times, already...but the employees there seemed to check out. The police hadn't released anything to the public about a series of serial kidnappings in the area because they didn't wish to cause a panic...but even they hadn't gotten anywhere.
When the police in cases such as these were at a standstill, it was when the kind-hearted boss of the Riva branch of the Spiaggia stepped in to investigate it using the resources the mafia had to offer. Sheeka, himself, was often put in charge of these cases because he had knowledge of the streets and generally was just a good person to put on the job. But with the way things were...he had an inkling of an idea as to who was behind the kidnappings, but had no solid evidence as of yet to say for sure who it was.
He closed the folder, dropping down from the rooftop gracefully and into the training yard of the dojo. It was mid-afternoon, so one of the spear students suddenly whirled on him, startled by his sudden appearance and Sheeka neatly side-stepped the wooden spear to avoid being impaled by it, much to the chagrin of whichever Inazuma was currently in charge of the students and headed into the house part of the dojo to find the help he was going to solicit.
