SPIAGGIA
The Spiaggia has a long, rich history. Formerly known as the Giglio Nero, the family started by Sepira to protect the Mare Rings. The Giglio Nero was headed by Sepira as well as her descendants. It's said that Sepira and her descendant were powerful seers and fortune tellers, whether or not this is still true remains to be seen. With the Giglio Nero in charge of protecting the Mare Rings, they tried to remain out of trouble with other mafia families, such as the Vongola and maintained a steady peace with them over the years, as well as maintaining a powerful alliance with the Acrobaleno because of Sepira's bloodline producing consistent Sky Arcobaleno. Almost every leader of the Giglio Nero has been the Sky Arcobaleno of their respective generation. Thus, with the Arcobaleno curse upon Sepira's bloodline causing shortened life spans, the family was known to continually go through new bosses. This considerably weakened them when the inexperienced Yuni stepped up and became boss of the Giglio Nero after her mother's death. With her meeting with Byakuran leading to her becoming drugged and merging with the Gesso family because of Genkishi's betrayal.
Of course, that future had been mostly prevented. However, with Yuni wishing to keep her eye upon Byakuran as well as having become closer to him over the years because of this, the two made the decision to merge the Gesso and Giglio Mero families into the Spiaggia, not the Millifiore. Instead of having their families be separate entities, the Black and White Spell, Yuni and Byakuran encouraged full bonding between the families and both took up the mantles as Co-Leaders of the family. Neither had more power than the other when it came to the Spiaggia.
Upon their retirement, within months of the other, their successor was, for once not a descendant of Sepira or of Byakuran, but a capable Lightning flame user named Saya Inazuma who had repeatedly proven herself capable of handling the family. Because of their possession of the Mare Rings and those wishing the exploit the Tri-ni-sette and the Mare Rings, the Spiaggia had acquired many enemies over the years and it is because of this that it eventually came to be that Saya Inazuma was subsequently killed in battle nearly a decade previously. With the death of its boss and no heir in sight to take the mantle up and the Mare Rings currently deactivated, the Spiaggia fell into obscurity and became a less known family. Upon the reactivation of the Lightning Mare Ring by her youngest son, Raitaro, and being pushed to continue his mother's job, the Spiaggia is making a comeback with a few changes.
The Riva– The first and foremost medical research and development company in Italy and the rest of Europe. The Riva is also a fairly young mafia family, compared to the long history of the Vongola or the former Giglio Nero, but their medical research as well as their medical practices have risen to being the best in both the mafia world and the civilians world. They remain neutral in many conflicts besides those that the Spiaggia directly are involved in, and even then try to remain in the background. The also support the usage of flames outside the mafia, which many other families frown upon, and even use Dying Will Flames as a medical practice within their hospitals.
Several years before Saya's death, she and her Mist Guardian met with the boss of the Riva family in search of an alliance against one of their common enemies. As the years passed, their alliance grew stronger and upon the death of Saya Inazuma and the Spiaggia nearly disappearing, it was the Riva who kept the Spiaggia afloat by taking care of their finances and protecting the Mare Rings that hadn't been lost to the Spiaggia's enemies during that final battle where Saya lost her life. The Riva continue to take care of Spiaggia finances and one of the heirs to their family also functions as the Spiaggia's second-in-command and their Mist Guardian.

Guidelines
- Raitaro is a pretty lax guy about his members. He doesn't care who joins and he's more of your friend than he is your boss, for the most part. - He does maintain a strict "no kill," policy, for the most part.
- Members of the Spiaggia should also be able to protect the mare rings on their own, but also be able to work with the secondary guardian, who has a Fake Mare Ring.
- Secondary guardians receive a Fake Mare Ring, which isn't near as powerful as a Mare Ring itself but it considerably powerful compared to other ring.
- Raitaro also attempts to be 'anti-mafia' about many things, but since his Mist Guardian handles most of that stuff...he doesn't really know much about it at all.
