History & Misc.

The beginning of his life was far from typical, being the son of a scientist and the descendant of a sword master long since dead that shouldn't be all that surprising. Long hours in planes, cars or on boats from the time he was healthy enough to go out with them. Faded memories of being wrapped in a blanket and his mother who was actually from another mafia family carrying him onto the plane. He thought maybe he'd have a normal child hood but as his birth had been back burner because of the famous Yamamoto great grandson that his father was so obsessed with. He should have known this was not to be. Five years of a normal life and being ignored by his father all changed on his sixth birthday with the discovery of his mist flames. His father wanted to use those as well for something about that Yamamoto boy. Honestly it was all blah to Gavril. The boy did not understand or perhaps he didn't care. It was all about someone else in his father's mind. Again and again he was told he needed to train hard so he could capture that child.

Even with his father's kidnapping attempts failing, Gavril's training just continued. He'd go to bed hungry sore and tired, only to be woken up hours later for more training. Hardly any time to rest or relax. He only got any time to himself when his father went away on a mission. He gave up trying to be normal or have anything that would be positive or good. Gavril retreated inside of himself which including shoving everyone away from him. Over time he had begun to realize he was just a tool for his father's desires. Outside of that he had no other purpose. Passing school, getting better with his flames. Slipping into college quickly after high school ended. This had become his life now. Pushing his body and mind further and further for his fathers attention and affection. No matter what it did to him or how he broke under the pressure.

Wanting to give up was no longer an option. He had to kill that fucking child. Ryuu Yamamoto had to die by his hand. It'd end up making his father happy wouldn't it? That was all he wanted even though he was starting to give up on it quite a lot. He just focused more and more on his training. Finishing up with college was not going to come quickly, but he took on the appearance of another person entirely. A disguise of mist flames that he wore at work and at school. The college had his old transcripts with a recent picture on them and a different name. After all hacking into the database to edit things had been no problem at all with the right amount of money. He was doing all of this to get closer to Ryuu, closer and closer till he could break him the fuck down. That was all he wished to do.

Anything to get some approval from dear old dad. He's a doctor's assistant at Ryuu's work and he also is in a lot of Ryuu's classes. He doesn't really try to talk to Ryuu and seems shy almost. But he all has some scheme in his head, driven by his father and the pain he has felt over the years because of Ryuu's existence. Recently his mother has fallen ill and is dying slowly of something he can't seem to treat but he still has a mission to complete. Even her dying can't stop him or his father will be angry.

Flame Attribute & Abilities:
Mist [ Nebbia ] Flame: His flames are mostly based for just illusions and picking at people's greatest fears. He has to do this for his father a lot so it's become second nature to observe or test them till he breaks people. Of course he does fight with his illusions as well but it's mostly for scaring people these days.

Now you see me, Now you don't : He usually uses this to change his own form into that of someone else, just to abuse it for his own purposes. He has a hard time fighting in this form so he needs to usually drop it or resist using a lot of his flames or his illusion will disappear. Only because of his training since the age of six can he keep this ability up for days but it has a huge consequence on his body. It can cause him to faint and then the ability falls apart. Or it can also make him really sick. If he's sick it doesn't last for more than an hour at a time though and sometimes even less in that situation.
Duration: 7 posts, but increases with a better ring.
Cooldown: 3 posts. However, overuse can be incredibly draining on him.

Box Weapon:
Unknown: These swords are passed down through his family, they are twin blades that have different colors painted on the hilts of the swords. His father gave them to him when he was seven years old and he's had them ever since. They usually rest on his back or his hips depending on the situation at hand. That is if he's not storing them away in his box for later use. The swords have scratches and a lot of wear on them but they are not dull as of yet.

Devil's Carnival: He creates illusions of his swords that attack the opponent under his orders. They can keep him surrounded to keep people off of him. The swords disappear after a hit from an opponent or when they strike the opponent or a hard object. The swords do seem real when touched but they are all just illusions. He's had a lot of training about making them seem real and even more dangerous then they are.
Duration: Until they strike an opponent or something hard.
Cooldown: Two posts.

Box Animal:
Styxx: Styxx is a black, white and reddish brown lynx with scars on it's body underneath the fur. It had on it's head and on it's paws. The flames on it's head form the symbol that is on Gavril's right side near his shoulder. The animal can actually hold a small dagger in it's tail and keeps most of Gavril's other weapons in its little pouches that Gavril made for him.

Devil's Mimicry: This ability is similar to his owner's however they cannot usually turn into another person. They can only mimic animals and Gavril. The downside to this is it doesn't last as long as Gavril's either. It only ends up dying after an hour or so based on how much flames he has. Of course with that being said the bigger the animal, the more flames it also takes so the shorter time period it could remain.
Duration: Between 3 - 5 posts based upon size.
Cooldown: Two posts.
