Trinisette

The trinisette is a system held together by the powers of the Vongola rings, the Mare rings, and the Arcobaleno pacifiers. If anyone was to bring these 21 powers together they would have the means to change the world as they wish. However, they are well-protected by the ones who guard them. The trinisette has a small poem to go with it that explains the meaning behind each set of rings.

“The sea knows no bounds, the clam passes down its form from generation to generation, and the rainbow that appears from time to time before fading away.”

Vongola Rings- These rings were entrusted to the Vongola in the time of Giotto and have been passed down through generations of leaders. Their abilities lie in the generations of the family. Each ring allows some interaction between the current generation and the previous; however, this usually only happens in life-or-death situations. S-ranked.
Mare Rings- These rings were once entrusted to the Giglio Nero family because of their connection to the Sky Arcobaleno. The Mare rings have the ability to transcend space by traversing the parallel worlds. Parallel worlds aren't new ‘worlds’ per say, however, they embody all the “what ifs” of that world, so there are infinite amounts of these worlds. S-ranked.

Fake Mare Rings- The fake mare rings are A+ ranked rings created by Byakuran for his “Fake” Funeral Wreaths to hold. These rings are not near as powerful as the Mare rings.

Arcobaleno Pacifiers- These were once in the hands of the Arcobaleno, cursed to protect them from those who would wish to use the Trinisette for their own means. However, with the help of Tsunayoshi and Talbot, they were placed in one container and sustained by the Flame of Night. They are now in the hands of the Vindice.

Rings

Rings are used to channel your dying will flames as well as an identification tag, telling somebody what family you are from. These rings are especially important for the Guardians of a family. Rings rank from E, D, C, B, A, A+, and then S-ranked rings. S-ranked rings include Vongola, Mare, and Simon rings.

Hell Rings

There are only six of these rings and they are highly dangerous as well as incredibly powerful. These rings are used by illusionists and mist flame users, however, it is highly advised not to use these rings. They possess an ability called “War Potential Doubling”, which increases strength in exchange for the soul of the user. Current locations for the Hell Rings on Farewell Future is unknown. These rings are currently ranked at S as stated by Irie.

Ossa Impressione- Its main abilities involves linking souls, as seen when he created the semblance of Tsuna’s family attacking him and his Storm guardian later informing him that he’d had a dream about attacking him. The souls trapped within this ring can also turn into ‘scapegoats’ and take an attack for the user.
Segno- This ring has the ability to hide murderous intent as well as the user's presence.
666- Not much is actually known about the abilities of this ring besides the fact that is said that are 666 moments of misfortune, it will cause one time of fortune, however, this rumor is unfounded. This ring should be considered a high-risk ring…however if the user finds misfortune as a good thing or simply doesn't care, like Fran, it’s the perfect match.
Malocchio- It is said that those who have this ring glaring at them will lose their ability to think and be paralyzed by it’s ‘evil eye.’ It also said to be carnivorous and savage and has the ability to create tentacles out of mist flames.
Vine-Covered Ring- There is currently nothing known about this ring.
Horn-shaped Ring- There is currently nothing known about this ring.

Varia Rings

The Varia Rings were designed and created specifically for the Varia by Talbot at Xanxus’ request. They are passed down from guardian to guardian just like any other family would do. These rings are A+ ranked rings.

Simon Rings

The Simon rings, while not a part of the tri-ni-set are just as powerful as the Vongola rings. They are known to have been fully activated by Cozart Simon's blood and hold the abilities of the Flames of the Earth. They are S-ranked rings.

Boxes

Boxes were first developed by Geppetto Lorenzini, however because they were considered ahead of their time. They were stored within a warehouse for several centuries until Verde, Innocenti, and Koenig rediscovered and began producing them. Boxes are meant to only open for the flames that are made for. For example, a storm box will only open for a storm flame. However, Sky flames are able to open all the boxes but they can not bring out the full potential of them. Boxes can be used to store a number of things and that is their usual function. They are opened by channeling a dying will flame into the box through a ring.

Weapons- Box weapons are what they said. These are weapons that can channel flames and because of this factor, they can be stored within one of those handy boxes explained about for easy storage.
Animals- In the KHR manga; animals are considered to be box weapons and are usually referred to as such. On HB, box weapons and box animals are two different things. These animals exhibit a personality of their own, a connection to their owner, as well as their own ability to use the same flame as the owner of their boxes. They are also highly intelligent.
Battery(Flames)- These boxes contain flames that were stored by the person carrying them and can be used to refresh their flames in the midst of a battle.
