Dying Will Flames

Dying Will flames are formed from one’s own life-force as well as their ‘resolve.’ The stronger their resolve, the purer and stronger their flames are. There are several items, including Dying Will bullets from Reborn, that can activate Dying Will mode, which removes external limiters on the body allowing them to use their potential in strength as well was compelling them to finish whatever their last regret was before their ‘death.’

Hyper Dying Will Mode- Hyper Dying Will Mode removes internal limiters on the body, allowing the use of their full potential and hidden awareness. This mode is achieved when a Dying Will bullet is shot at somebody in dying will mode or two dying will pills have been ingested. Hyper Dying Will Mode is stamina related. HDWM is useful for those of Giotto’s blood-line because it awakens their “Hyper Intuition.” It determines succession of the Vongola as well as the ability to “see through all” however, this is not true as there are times when it has not worked on illusions. Known users; Tsunayoshi, Basil, Enma, Giotto, and Iemitsu. Note; On Farewell Future, HDWM will be allowed, but there will be restrictions on the usage of it.
Ultimate Dying Will Mode- This mode comes to being when a person in HDWM is shot with a dying will bullet. This mode relies purely on the usage of the flames, no weapons are required. Known users; Tsunayoshi and Bermuda (only when he created the Flame of Night).

Subflames

Some flame users have acquired the ability to use the other flames, most notable of these sub flames users is Gokudera. Note; on Farewell Future – Sky and Earth flames can not be used as sub-flames and only two sub flames are allowed. If your main flame is that of the Sky, you can only take a sub flame from Flames of the Sky. The same goes for flames of the Earth. Flames of Wrath only get one sub-flame because they are essentially already two flames.

Sky Flames

The “Boss” flame of the Sky flames that most mafia famiglia bosses have the Sky flame. They are considered to be rare; however, since most bosses have this flame, it’s not as rare as one would be led to believe. Sky Flames have the “Harmony” factor, a nature of balance. The Harmonizing factor of the Sky Flames is known to basically petrify their target and then be able to break through the target. There a three different types of flames within the Sky flames and Sky flames are known to be able to absorb other flames, open boxes of other flame attributes although it was once said Sky flame users can’t use other boxes to their full potential. One ability of Sky Flames that is shared by Tsunayoshi and Giotto is the ability to freeze other dying will flames. Sky Flame Users are also known to be able to hover in mid-air and fly with the use of ‘Soft Flames’ explained below. Known Users; Tsunayoshi Sawada, Giotto, Dino, Byakuran, Luce, Aria, Yuni and Xanxus.

Soft Flames– The energy within a ‘soft flame’ is dispersed and is used to maintain hovering, flight, and stances.
Hard Flames– These flames are said to have the highest purity of Sky flames. They are known to have explosive power and be used for bursts of speed or pure power.
Oath Flame– An Oath flame is just as rare as the Flame of Wrath, with only one person so far being able to use it – Tsunayoshi. The Flame of Oath is the combination of Tsuna’s Sky Flames and Enma of the Shimon’s Earth flames. So far, only Tsuna has been able to use this flame. It is unknown if Enma can use this flame as well.
Wrath Flame - Flames of Wrath is probably one of the rarest flame types and has only been seen manifested in Ricardo and Xanxus who both could use the flame at will without the use of a ring. Ricardo was known to show this flame whenever he was enraged about something. Wrath Flames are known for their explosive and volatile powers. They are essentially two flames in one, not to be mistaken for a Sky flame and a sub-Storm flame.

Storm Flames

Storm flames with their “Disintegration” factor are probably the best offensive flame there is. Contact with these flames causes disintegration of other flames as well as large amounts of damage because of that. Known Users; Belphagor, G, Fon, Rasiel, Bianchi, Tazaru, Nosaru, Baishana, Coyote Nougat, Zakuro, and Gokudera Hayato.

Rain Flames

A tranquil flame. Rain flames are known for their “Tranquility” factor which is used to slow down movement speed as well as other reactions such as strength. It is also known to be able to form ice. Known Users; Squalo Superbi,Ugetsu Asari, Bluebell,Colonnello, Lal Mirch, Glo Xinia, Basil, Olgert, Schnitten Brabanters, and Takashi Yamamoto.

Cloud Flames

Cloud flames are known for their “Propagation” factor. Their abilities include multiplying, increasing in size and there are known uses of it to absorb other flames. Known Users; Alaude, Skull, Nigella Beankabul, Iris Hepburn, Viscounti, Kikyo, and Kyouya Hibari.

Lightning Flames

The “Hardening” factor of lightning flames is great for defense as well as being an offensive flame. Lightning flames are noted to be more like lighting than flames because of an electrocution ability they hold. The hardening factor is great for hardening the body as well as weapons to aid in breaking through defenses. Known Users; Lampo, Verde, Dendro Chilum, Ganauche III, Gamma, Leviathan and Lambo.

Sun Flames

The “Activation” factor of sun flames make them best suited for support roles such as supplying strength as well as healing. The Sun flame factor increases the ‘activity’ of muscles…cells…ect. However, their use in combat is limited because of the activation factor. Known Users; Ryohei Sasagawa, Shoichi Irie, Knuckle, Daisy, and Lussuria.

Mist Flames

“Construction” flames. Mist flames are best reserved for the use in illusions. They have little offensive capabilities besides being able to create illusions to affect the senses of the enemy. They can be used to create organs if the illusion is strong enough and trick the body into thinking that they are a natural part. Known Users; Mukuro Rokudo, Genkishi, Kawahira, Bouche Croquant, Chrome Dokuro, Mammon/Viper, Torikabuto, and Fran.

Earth Flames

Earth Flames are considered the “Boss” flames of the Earth. Only descendants of Cozart Simon have been seen able to use these flames. However, Tsunayoshi is able to when the Simon and Vongola rings are used together in the Oath Flame – see above at 2.004.- Earth Flames are able to manipulate gravity as well as create deadly black holes. This makes earth flames extremely dangerous. Do not piss off an earth flame user. Known Users; Cozart Simon, and Enma Kozato.

Note; Flames of the earth only run in the Simon bloodlines. Any flames of the earth users are descendants of the Simon family and will be within that family.

Glacier Flames

Glacier flames have the ability to control ice and water. However, their full potential can only be used if they are near a body of water to be able to freeze the water into a usable source and then manipulate it into a usable form. The ice created has high defensive capabilities; however, the interior does not have as much defense as its exterior. If water is not readily available, then the flames themselves can be used to create deadly shards of ice. Known Users; Adelheid Suzuki.

Mountain Flames

Mountain flames are capable of manipulating earth and sand as well as rumor being that the users are able to create mountains. However, there hasn’t been any truth to this as of yet. Users of this flame can create stalagmites from the ground. Known Users; Raiji Ooyama.

Forest Flames

Forest flames have both offensive and defensive capabilities and can manipulate plant life. They can create barriers out of wood, or even sharpen the edges of leaves to do plenty of damage. Forests or any other heavily vegetated area is the best place to use these flames to their full potential. Known Users; Koya Aoba.

Swamp Flames

Swamp flames are like their Storm flame counterpart, highly offensive. Swamp flames take on the appearance of mud and can ferment inorganic matter, causing it to rot and decay. Known Users; P. Shitt.

Desert Flames

The illusion flames of the Earth, they are similar to Mist flames in the way they aid in the creation and manipulation of illusions. However, desert flames have not been used in their full capabilities as of yet. Known Users; Julie Katou.

Savannah Flames

Not much is known about this flame, it's a branch of earth flames that have been known as Unknown flames. It's a very hot flame that is known to cause lacerations and be able to harden and cut people. Known Users; Kaoru Mizuno
